Gallery of Commissions The photos shown below are examples of private commissions for various Armigers. Each of the badge masters are stored for future use in the event that additional pieces are required. As you can see once the master is made, a pin can be made from the centre crest or a brooch using the circlet only. Most commissions come with a good graphic representation of the crest from which Roddy works. If you would like to speak to Roddy about a potential commission or an idea you have for something you would like made, please get in touch on the following e-mail address: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it As well as Armiger badges Roddy has made the three and two feathered badges of Clan Chiefs and Chieftains as shown here. Here are examples of other pieces made from the commission master for individual armigers and clansmen. As you can see, most are made in solid silver however they can also be cast in gold or gold-plated. Sometimes there is a special requirement involved e.g. adapting a belt buckle for a left-handed clansman or attaching nuts and bolts for attaching a badge to a sporran. As all these pieces are made as one-off commissions, anything is possible! More pictures will be added as and when pieces are completed so watch this space! |
